Good School: all you need to know about 500 euro for training

Law 107/2015 "The Good School" has allocated as from 2015, as specified in paragraphs 121, 122 and 123, 381 million euro to support the continuing education of teachers and enhance the professional skills.

Each teacher role will receive a card nominal amount of € 500 per annum per school year.

WHO WILL RECEIVE The 500 EURO EXPECTED FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS?
All permanent teachers of educational institutions of all levels, from kindergarten to secondary school level II. The 500 euro are also due to those teachers who are still waiting for the recruitment and that will come into the role with the phase C of the assumptions set forth by law.

HOW THIS YEAR WILL BE ASSIGNED The 500 EURO EXPECTED FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION TEACHERS?
For the school year 2015/2016 500 Euros will be awarded with a direct payment to beneficiaries will be disbursed by the end of October. This payment will cover the whole of the sector School teaching staff that, as of October 9, 2015, resulted entered in the role by 30 September. For personnel entered in the role after the date of 9 October it is planned subsequent monthly special issues.

AND THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR?
Teachers will receive an electronic card for updating the nominal amount of € 500 per annum per school year. It will function as an ATM can be used on a major payment networks.

HOW CAN I SPEND 500 EUROS?
As stated in the law, the bonus can be used:
to buy books, texts, magazines and publications useful for professional training (including in digital format);
to buy hardware and software;
to register for training courses and professional qualification, provided they are carried out by accredited organizations from the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR)
to enroll in graduate courses, specialized or one cycle which relate with the professional profile, or a postgraduate course or a university master inherent in their professional profile;
to attend theater performances and film;
to buy entrance tickets to museums, cultural events, exhibitions and live shows;
for initiatives consistent with the activities identified in the three-year plan of training of the schools and the national training plan.
